Why am I interested in optical illusions?
I like optical illusions because I like how we can see many special effects or many images in one huge picture. When we see optaical illusions normally we can see special effects or different pictures in one image. However some people can't reconize them easily. Luckly I can reconize them pretty well. I like them also because it's very interesting when you find out how the optical illusions work and how they trick you.
How does optical illusions work.
An optical illusion occurs because the different cells and receptors of the eye perceive images and colors at different rates, which sometimes result in a false image being relayed to the brain. The brain receives information from receptors in the eye, but in actuality, the eye only perceives a certain quantity of visual information at any given time, while our brain continuously decodes, constructs and reconstructs visual information, giving us the illusion of continuous sight. The right combination of colors, shapes, spatial relations, and other stimuli viewed by the eyes and reported to the brain during the relays of information can achieve the effect of an optical illusion.
There is a scientific explanation behing every single one optical illusions, things don't happen random. I was very suprised how there was this huge scintific background behind the optical illusions, and I was intrested in optical illusions because I liked how there was this huge scintific background behind this small pictures or videos, and I liked how the image or the video can acuatlly fool people eye and brain.
